1. Official Regulation Dimensions
A regulation pickleball court is identical in perimeter dimensions to a doubles badminton court: 20 feet (6.10 meters) wide by 44 feet (13.41 meters) long.
Total playing area: While the court lines measure 20x44 ft, USA Pickleball recommends an overall playing enclosure of at least 30x60 ft to allow adequate runoff space for safe athletic play.

2. Converting Existing Sports Facilities
Because pickleball is the world's fastest growing sport, many organizers convert tennis or badminton courts into dedicated or multi-use pickleball venues:
Converting Tennis Courts
A single regulation tennis court (36 x 78 feet with runoff) can comfortably accommodate up to 4 regulation pickleball courts using temporary or semi-permanent rolling nets.
Converting Badminton Courts
Badminton perimeter lines already match pickleball (20 x 44 feet). To convert, tape off the 7-foot kitchen line from the net and lower the net from badminton height (5 feet) down to 34 inches at center.
